Are you on the hunt for quality gifts that your loved ones will truly cherish? This month is a great opportunity to check out some of Vancouver’s holiday craft markets, including the largest in Western Canada: Circle Craft Holiday Market.
Taking over the Vancouver Convention Centre West for five days this November, the market will feature handmade gifts from over 315 top craftspeople, all from Canada. Shoppers can sip and snack as they shop from a variety of goods you won’t find anywhere else, from curated fashion and jewelry to home decor and ceramics.
Chances are, you’ll find a little something for everyone on your holiday shopping list here!
Plus, who doesn’t love browsing while surrounded by festive decor, music, and artisanal treats to sample? It’s a fun chance to see what creative talent is out there in our own backyards, and check off gifts on our holiday lists while supporting artists over corporations.
Since 1974, Circle Craft Holiday Market has been bringing a creative spread of vendors to centre stage, ranging from emerging artists to longstanding family businesses. The event has only grown in size and scope since, bringing British Columbians a cherished holiday tradition they can always count on.
GA tickets are priced at $16, but you can get yours for half off if you visit on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday between 5 and 9 p.m.
All tickets are available for purchase online.
As a fun bonus, you can pick up a re-admission pass at the show to return all week long. So one ticket can easily get you back in all five days if one day isn’t enough to see it all!
The market operates from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Wednesday to Friday, until 7 p.m. on Saturday, and until 5 p.m. on Sunday.
If you’re looking for more ways to support local this holiday season, the upcoming Eastside Culture Crawl is a fantastic opportunity to check out what Vancouver artists have been creating behind-the-scenes, and even pick up a few goodies in the process.
