Toronto’s Lee Restaurant to open its new spot & you can get its signature slaw again

After months of waiting, we now have a date. One of Toronto’s most beloved eateries, Lee Restaurant has announced an opening date for its new location. Here’s your much-needed update!

It’s official! In an exciting announcement shared on Instagram, the restaurant revealed that reservations are now open to dine starting July 25th, 2023.

As for where it’s located, it has claimed a spot at 497 Richmond St. West after having to relocate from its beloved location just last year.

Back in 2022, we found out that Earls Restaurant Group was taking over Lee by Susur Lee’s space on King Street, leaving us to wonder what would happen to the iconic restaurant.

Though it had planned to continue operating at the current King Street location for the rest of that year, it had shared it would be reopening at a new location in March 2023. They even continued to operate well into March before they moved.

“The new location will be located around the corner and all the favourites will live on (including the slaw, the cheeseburger spring rolls, and our chefs banquet menu),” said the restaurant’s team, at the time.

Now we can breathe a sigh of relief – we can finally enjoy the signature Singapore slaw once again.

Make sure to book your reservation before they fill up!
