These outdoor concerts in Toronto are FREE to attend this summer

Toronto, we know you love live music! The only thing better than live music is free live music. There are a selection of concerts happening in the city this summer that are free of cost so jot these down and let’s dive in.

Union Summer

Union Summer at Union Station is on now until August 25th and has daily lineups of free concerts to enjoy all summer long.

I Heart Market Street

Market Street is hosting a free summer music series in June and July.

There will be plenty of concerts to choose from including Kaleb Hikele and Gareth Bush.

Sounds of Toronto

Sounds of Toronto is a free concert series happening in the beautiful Distillery District.

The series “celebrates the diversity and vibrancy of Toronto’s incredible music scene,” with performances happening between 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM each day until July 21st.

When: Every day from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM until July 21st

Berczy Beats

How about a concert to go with your lunch?

Berczy Park is hosting a concert lunchtime music series on Wednesdays in July and August.

Eat your lunch next to the famous “dog fountain” and enjoy a show!

When: Wednesdays from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM in July & August
Where: 35 Wellington St E

Edward Gardens Summer Music Series

The Edwards Summer Music Series includes eight free outdoor concerts showcasing Candian musical talent at the stunning Toronto Botanical Garden.

The concert series is running on Thursday evenings at 7:00 PM all July and August.

When: Thursdays at 7:00 PM in July & August
Where: 755 Lawrence Ave E

BD Beats

From July – September 1st the Broadview Danforth area will have bi-weekly live music to enjoy. The concert series will take place in three different spaces:

337 Danforth Ave Parkette: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

156 Danforth Parkette: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

348 Danforth Carrot Common Courtyard: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Summer Music in the Garden

Can you think of anything more peaceful than enjoying a concert in a beautiful garden along Toronto’s harbourfront?

Summer Music in the Garden is back for 2024 with live performances occurring most Thursdays and Sundays all summer.

When: Thursdays & Sundays from now – end of August
Where: 235 Queens Quay W
