These Canadian cities are ranked among the best in the world for students

Attention, students! If you want to have it all at your fingertips, you may want to set your sights on the best cities in the world for students.

A new ranking of the most student-friendly cities around the globe has just been published by QS Quacquarelli Symonds, the higher education experts behind the world’s best university rankings.

To make the cut, each city must have a population of over 250,000, and be home to at least two universities featured in the most recent ranking of the world’s best universities.

From there, an additional six categories are used to determine which cities offer the best opportunities for students.

Those six categories are university rankings, student mix, affordability, desirability, employer activity, and student voice.

The report compares 160 cities worldwide. It also includes 100,000 survey responses to evaluate students’ feedback and opinions.
