Jollibee has officially opened its first Vancouver location

The Jollibee train has arrived in Vancouver! The Filipino-based fast-food chain has been teasing its first Vancouver location for a long while now, and today is the official opening date.

The chain opened has opened (or confirmed) 23 other locations across Canada since arriving in Winnipeg in late 2018. It’s known for a relatively unique trio of items- fried chicken, spaghetti, and of course, the beloved peach mango pies. The spaghetti is particularly fun, using a somewhat sweet variation of bolognese complete with ham, ground meat, and hot dog.

In Calgary and Edmonton, hungry customers waited for hours on end in order to try Jollibee, and Vancouver’s first location could see the same level of excitement.

On Friday, February 25, doors opened at 9:00 am at the Vancouver Jollibee. Guests will be able to order food to-go but only from inside the restaurant, so waiting in that line may end up an inevitability.

The opening day will run until 10:00 pm, so choose your timing wisely. Happy eating, Vancouver.
