The James Beard Awards announce semifinalists with 14 Washington mentions

The new year is off to a hot start for Seattle foodies and restauranteurs alike. The James Beard Foundation has announced its 2023 Restaurant and Chef Awards semifinalists for the James Beard Awards and there are a few local mentions. Let’s see who made the cut and when you can expect more updates on the awards.

Let’s start with the awards, nominees will be announced on Wednesday, March 29th, and winners will be celebrated at the James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards Ceremony on Monday, June 5, 2023, at the Lyric Opera of Chicago. What’s more, the 2023 Restaurant and Chef Semifinalists are recognized across 23 categories so you’ll have plenty to digest.
