What the brand is all about

Born in Vancouver over two decades ago, the Canadian skincare brand became popular for breaking through the spa stereotype. Their unpretentious offerings, personalized facials (or skincare workouts as they call them) and effective skincare products garnered them a dedicated following.

Courtesy of their skincare workouts, their expert skin care trainers and their exceptional service, skoah has grown from a single shop in YVR to a multi-shop North American chain.

The Facials you need right now

To help us revive our skin for whatever 2023 will bring, the brand launched two new facial treatments, or workouts if you will— the Glow and the Super Glow facial. Much like your other workout, these skincare workouts rejuvenate your skin and ensure its well-being. Only these are calm-inducing and sweat-free.

The skin care workouts come with all the signature skoah inclusions of deep cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, customized masks and muscle-melting massage. What sets them apart, however, is that these facials let you choose between skoah’s newest treatment techniques, Dermaplaning and High Frequency.

In case you were wondering, here’s what these treatments do for your skin—

Dermaplaning

  • Removes the top layer of dull and dead skin for a smoother, glowy skin
  • Reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines
  • Prevents pore clogging and breakouts
  • Improves absorption of other products
  • Ensures smooth and even application of cosmetics

High Frequency

  • Boosts collagen and elastin production minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Prevents acne by reducing bacteria on the skin
  • Promotes lymphatic drainage and reduces puffiness
  • Reduces the appearance of enlarged pores
  • Improves circulation, thereby, rejuvenating and hydrating the skin

The Super Glow facial, in fact, goes a step further. In addition to the Dermaplaning and High Frequency, it also lets you choose between LED light and Ultrasonic Wand to achieve that “super glow.”
