Here are 7 ways to treat dad this Father’s Day in Seattle

This weekend is like any other except it isn’t because it’s Father’s Day on Sunday! If you still aren’t sure how to celebrate with the dad in your life we have a few ideas to help you out. Here are 7 ways to treat dad this Father’s Day in Seattle.

Take a flight tour over the city

Gift the dad in your life the experience of seeing Seattle from an entirely new perspective. There are all sorts of flight tours that you can enjoy whether you just want to see the city or take in the views of our city’s surrounding nature and mountains.

Check out a car show

If the dad in your life is a car guy, what better way to celebrate the day than by checking out a car show. Head to Burien to enjoy the Father’s Day Car Show. Visitors will be able to see hot rods, classic and vintage cars.

When: June 19th
Where: 480 SW 152nd St

Get him a new read

If the dad in your life likes to read, why not grab him a new book from one of Seattle’s best bookstores? If he’s truly a bookworm you can even encourage him to participate in this year’s SPL & SAL Summer Book Bingo.

Treat him to Frans

Frans pulls out all the stops for holidays including Fathers Day. You can snag the dad in your life a few truffles or a whole custom box depending on what he likes. They even offer delivery if you’re unable to visit one of the several stores around the city.

Go hiking for free

As Father’s Day falls on Juneteenth, Washingtonians will be able to enjoy a free state parks day. It’s the perfect chance to get outdoors with dad and hit all of the trails you’ve been meaning to. Whether you want to see wildflowers, waterfalls, or swimming holes, there’s plenty to do in nature.

Ride a historic steam train

It’s not every day that you can see let alone ride a real steam train. Luckily the PNW is full of railroad history and this Fathers Day weekend you can take a trip on a steam train. Treat dad to a ride from North Bend or Snoqualmie.

When: June 18th & 19th
Where: North Bend Depot or Snoqualmie Depot
Cost: $15-$30

15th Annual Washington Brewers Festival

The Washington Brewers Festival is back after a two-year hiatus! You can enjoy it all weekend long and take dad along on Father’s Day! Try tons of local beer and enjoy all sorts of eats.

When: June 17th-19th
Where: Marymoor Park
Cost: $5-$35

Happy Father’s Day, Seattle!
