Toronto’s getting a comedy fest headlined by Pete Davidson, Trevor Noah, Amy Schumer & more

We could all use a good laugh after the past couple of years, and lucky for us, Toronto’s Just for Laughs Festival is on its way and it’ll be headlined by the biggest names in comedy.

Starting in late September just after TIFF, celebrities of the comedy and entertainment world will descend on Toronto for the 11-day festival.

Comedy enthusiasts can look forward to shows by Trevor Noah, Amy Schumer, John Mulaney, RuPaul’s Drag Race stars Trixie and Katya, Ben Schwartz, Deon Cole, Tim Dillon, and so many more.

As part of the event, Toronto will also host ComedyCon, the biggest comedy convention in North America. This year, the chosen headliners are Pete Davidson and Issa Rae.

There are also 42 other comics announced thus far, including Marc Maron, Craig Ferguson, Vir Das, Amanda Seales — the list goes on! More names will be announced closer to the time of the festival.

Passes go on sale on Friday, June 17, followed by tickets on June 23.

This will no doubt be the funniest event of the year here in Toronto. If you can’t resist the opportunity for a good chuckle or to see these comedic legends in person, you may want to mark your calendar!
