Summer is here and that means it’s time to explore the great outdoors. We know that between gear, driving and park passes, getting out there isn’t always super affordable. But this month is an excellent time to go because you can actually visit state parks for free on 3 separate days this month!

Technically it was four days but the first free day has already passed. You can look forward to free state park entrance on June 12th, 13th, and 19th. The 12th and 13th are unique as typically the free entrance only applies to one-day trips. But it looks like you might be able to do an overnight if you pay for the spot. Info on that is light, so be sure to call ahead to make sure.
