There are plenty of haunted attractions in Seattle but why not get out of the city and see something with spooky charm and history. There’s a whole loop drive that you can do that will take you to some of our states most beautiful ghost towns. Yes, we said beautiful ghost towns.
The name gives away just how great this place is. You have the ability to enjoy natural hot springs water in manmade pools overlooking beautiful forest land. What’s more, there are three pools so it’s small and intimate although you may have to share the space with others.

Fall is more than just pumpkin spice season, it’s also apple season. Start fall off on a high note with a trip to one or a few our state’s amazing apple orchards. You can pick apples to your hearts content and bring them home to cook up some tasty baked goods or simply enjoy them as is.
This town is normally everyone’s go-to for winter but we think it’s equally special in the fall. If you need some Bavarian charm in your life be sure to head here. After all, there’s so much to do in town and also lots of surrounding nature to explore.
Edison, Washington is a great place to see how other Washingtonians around the sound celebrate fall. Explore the arts centric town, grab some bites to eat and watch as the Skagit Valley transforms into a fall wonderland. This little town is magic year round but especially in the fall.

The coast is beautiful to visit no matter the time of year. It’s quaint nature is the perfect backdrop for a fall trip full of views. There’s restaurants, shops, arts and festivals and all sorts of things to see on this high accessible island. Psst you don’t have to take a ferry to get here.
Usually when people take a day trip in our state they head up north but why not head down south and see the stunning Columbia River. Not only is the river itself beautiful but there’s tons to do in the area. From getting out in nature to visiting museums, you’ll have no shortage of things to do.
What’s a Washington State destination list without Mount Rainier? The mountain is worth visiting year round in our books but especially when roads are still pretty accessible. It’s a great chance to see the mountain up close and personal in a new season and of course do some hiking.
You don’t even have to leave the city for this one! the Washington Park Arboretum is accessible to enjoy, easy to get to and is a great way to see how one of our city’s most beautiful green spaces transitions seasons. You can of course take a walk down by the lake after.
If you need a little bit of the Wild West err east in this case, Winthrop is a great destination. It’s beautiful year round but due to the fall colors and i’s location in Okanagan County, the town definitely has some old time vibes. Check out the town, learn some history and explore the surrounding areas.
