CHECK OUT A DRIVE-THRU LIGHTS DISPLAY

That’s right, the Magic of Lights is returning to Castrol Raceway in Leduc this weekend. Running the length of the 2.7km-long track, this holiday light show will transport you through different scenes as you wind through it. It’s a great, safe way to enjoy some holiday lights!

When: November 20 to January 2
Where: 50342 Range Rd 253, Leduc County
Cost: $25 and up per car

DO SOME HOLIDAY SHOPPING

But not for people. Instead, check out the online market Frosty Paws. Put on by the Greater Edmonton Animal Rescue Society, this market will have everything you need to pamper your fur-baby. Still a weird concept, but it’s growing on us.

When: Starts November 20
Where: Online
Cost: Free

RENT A THEATRE FOR A PRIVATE MOVIE

Last week, Cineplex Theatres announced that you can finally book a private showing, with over 1000 movies available. Theatres can accommodate up to 20 people (depending on public) health guidance, and reservations start at $125. At that price, we’d go with 3 others and be super happy.

When: Whenever
Where: Cineplex Theatre locations
Cost: $125 and up

ENJOY SOME WINTER WEATHER (ON THE HILL)

If you’re all geared up for the snowy season, then the Edmonton Ski Club’s tubing hill awaits. The best part about this? Their magic carpet lift means you don’t have to walk all the way up the hill every time you go down. Now that’s convenience!

When: Now open
Where: 9613 96 Avenue NW
Cost: $15

ATTEND A CONCERT

The Edmonton Symphony Orchestra has brought back live music at the Winspear Centre. These socially-distanced concerts might be a far cry from normal, but, they’re probably going to be just as rewarding to check out.

When: November 20 and 21
Where: 4 Sir Winston Churchill Square
Cost: $62

DO SOME HOLIDAY SHOPPING

But not for people. Instead, check out the online market Frosty Paws. Put on by the Greater Edmonton Animal Rescue Society, this market will have everything you need to pamper your fur-baby. Still a weird concept, but it’s growing on us.
