We hope that you’ve had a good weekend, Edmonton! We’re sure you have, and you’re ready for another week of things to do around the city. Well, we’re here to give you a few suggestions for what to get up to. You know, just in case you needed some options.

Here are 8 things to do in and around Edmonton this week.

CHECK OUT STREET FEST

Sadly, the Edmonton Street Performers Festival won’t be quite the same this year. However, if you still want to support the Performers, you can check out their virtual events and shows instead!

PLAY SOME SPORTS

This is a very open-ended suggestion. We think if you can catch the sun this week, then it would be great to round of some friends and play some sports! Soccer, baseball, volleyball… they’re all ok to play! Although we’re personally going to hit the links.

CHECK OUT SOME NEW NETFLIX SHOWS

A new month means new content on Netflix! Whether you’re trying to figure out an unsolved mystery or are ready to join The Babysitter’s Club, Netflix has got some great options for you.

HEAD TO THE LAND OF THE DINOSAURS

Looking for a left-field pick? This is it. Jurassic Forest, just north of Edmonton, is open once more! Head down for a few hours of fun with some beasts from the past. Plus, there’s mini golf!

GO OUT ON A WIRE

The Aerial Park at Snow Valley is open for the summer. Whether you need to conquer your fears of heights or just want to feel like a squirrel for a few hours, this is a great option.

HIT THE GYM

Edmonton’s fitness centres have officially reopened to the public! If you were chomping at the bit to get back in the gym and get a sweat on, this is your chance.

TAKE AN ALBERTAN SUMMER STAYCATION

Time to see what the province has got going for it this summer! Take Monday off and have an impromptu Albertan getaway this weekend, and explore what this wonderful province has to offer.

ENJOY SOME PLANTS

The Botanical Garden at the U of A is open once more! Head down and enjoy 25,000 different kinds of plants spread out over 240 acres. This might be one of the most fun places to play ‘I Spy’ in the city.

And that’s what we’ve got for things to do in Edmonton this week, folks! We hope that you enjoy it!
