Chop Steakhouse & Bar is slowly conquering the Canadian landscape with new openings across the board. Next up, Ontario! The non-traditional steak house will be opening its second spot in the province very soon.

In an announcement by Chop for its new waterfront Vancouver opening, the restaurant spilled the beans about its plans to open in Markham, Ontario.

According to the chain, it’s gearing up to open up its next Ontario location in late 2023/early 2024. So you’ll definitely have to wait a bit to check out the new spot but it’ll be worth it.

This opening is part of Chop’s “aggressive growth plans”, which include both corporate and franchise ventures across Canada.

“While Chop has been around for over 16 years, this is only the beginning for us, as we look towards future growth and expansion,” says Dave Campbell, President, Chop Steakhouse & Bar. “We, as a team, are passionate about the craft of dining, challenging the status quo of steakhouses, and serving guests as we complement the communities we are proud to be a part of.”

This would be the steakhouse’s seventh location in Ontario with restaurants in Oakville, Mississauga, Vaughan, Toronto, and Ottawa, just to name a few.
