More restos? Yes, PLEASE! You won’t have to wait in anticipation for Chop Steakhouse & Bar’s newest spot because it’s actually now open in Vancouver’s Coal Harbour.

Get ready to enjoy delectable cuisine in an upscale yet approachable atmosphere, according to the restaurant brand. Chop Steakhouse & Bar Coal Harbour continues its approach to differentiate itself from traditional steakhouses with its memorable dining experience.

First date or date with friends, you can expect all the best treatment no matter the occasion. Along with the atmosphere and stellar hospitality, its menu is no different.

We’re talking handcrafted cuisine and signature drinks that’ll leave you wanting more. Curated by Executive Chef Stephen Clark, the menu at Coal Harbour is “inspired by the community,” according to the restaurant. It features delicious eats like Wild Mushroom & Goat Cheese Dip, Chili Garlic Shrimp and the Blue Cheese Wedge Salad.

Don’t forget the 100% Canadian beef, seasoned with Chop’s infamous Old Chicago Steakhouse blend. And, unique to this location is the halibut entree and a mussels & frites dish, (available in Halifax too).

“Like all of our locations, Chop Coal Harbour presents a modern take on the steakhouse experience, pairing a vibrant design with exceptional service and a delicious menu of fresh, hand-crafted food,” said Clark. “Being from Vancouver, I was thrilled to be able to curate a locally-influenced menu for Coal Harbour.”

When it comes to drinks, whether it’s for happy hour or drink pairing with dinner, there are a few offerings like an ode to the classic Manhattan cocktail: The Van Hattan.

This is only offered at its Vancouver locations and features browned butter-washed Bourbon, black walnut bitters, and Cinzano, topped with a flamed orange peel and an Amarena cherry garnish. Wow, just wow.

As for the space itself, the restaurant seats 220 people for lunch, dinner or happy hour both indoors and outdoors. Good food, great atmosphere and beautifully articulated interior design by interior designer Joanna Kado. When you’re there, take a look at the unique mural created by Vancouver’s Jennifer Clark, grab a table near the open kitchen to see what’s cookin’ and in the summer, sit out on the spacious covered patio right on the waterfront.

Chop Steakhouse & Bar Coal Harbour is now open at 1055 Canada Place #26, Vancouver, seven days a week. And, before we forget the most important detail of all, Happy Hour is every day from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM to close on Sunday to Thursday.
