Hate to love it or love to hate it, one of King Street’s most popular and busiest bars is opening a second location in Toronto – Liberty Soho. And just by the name, you can probably already guess where it will be located.

Liberty Soho will soon open its doors to the public at 139 East Liberty Street, near bustling breakfast spot OEB, in Liberty Village.

Last we updated you, the bar was still under construction but working diligently to open. Though their goal was to open the new late-night spot before the end of 2022, there were a few setbacks.

According to their website, they have reservations available as of March 3rd.

If you’ve ever sat for a drink, ordered some food, or even walked by Ruby Soho on a weekend, then you know how busy it usually gets. But can you blame them?

They’re known for their food offerings, deliciously curated cocktails, and, of course, vibes.

So lucky for you, Liberty Soho will have a very similar menu to Ruby’s, according to a representative of the bar. But you’ll also see a few extras and original dishes at the new location.

If you live in Liberty Village, then you’ve most likely seen signs up at the new bar. But you’ll just have to hold your excitement in for a few more days.

We’ve reached out to the Liberty Village team for confirmation and more updates. We’ll update you when we hear back.
