Everybody loves food, but where do Hollywood’s elite indulge when they’re in town? Calgary, Alberta has some incredible restaurants, but it might surprise you to know where celebrities have a bite, enjoy a night off, and grab a coffee on their way to set.
From nightclubs to ice cream shops, eateries and cafes, here are just a few spots where you might run into an A-lister.
Want to know where singer, dancer, and songwriter Tate McRae hangs out when she’s back in her hometown? According to the star, McRae, Greta Bar is a “fun place to hang with a group of friends.”
“I first went to Greta Bar for a magazine photo shoot! I was still underage, but the bar is fun and colourful with so many arcade and bar games. There is a basement with a dance floor and more games,” she told Apple Maps.
“The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is great.”

Love country music? It’s safe to assume that the cast of Netflix’s My Life With The Walter Boys does as well! While shooting season 2 of the popular show, many of the cast hit the iconic bar for a night of drinks and line dancing.
“We loved having the My Life With The Walter Boys cast at Ranchmans,” the bar posted on social media.
“Y’all are welcome back anytime!”

According to Ethiopian coffee shop, AGGÜDO, Jon Hamm stopped by several times while filming season 4 of the hit anthology and even took photos with the staff.

Model Milk has become THE spot for actors, musicians and athletes, according to Daisy Edgar-Jones (Twisters), who shared her love for the restaurant on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
In addition, Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones), as well as Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan, and Billy Boyd from The Lord Of The Rings also enjoyed a meal here.

Known for its warm atmosphere, Monogram Coffee was a major part of ‘The Thicket’ actress, Leslie Grace’s routine.
“If my call time wasn’t too early, and things weren’t closed, no matter how cold it was, I would walk to Monogram Cafe,” she told Curiocity.
“Amazing coffee, great people, beautiful space.”

A local favourite! Ten Foot Henry is another ‘it’ spot for celebrity sightings. Elliott Lester, director of the Alberta-shot film ‘The Thicket’ confirmed to Curiocity that he had stopped by.
