Forbes has released its Best Employers in America list for 2022

Ready for some fun Friday data? Forbes has released its best large and mid-size employers in America for 2022. You might assume that you know just which companies made the cut but let us tell you the results are actually a bit surprising. Let’s check it out.

Each list covers 500 American employers with at least 1,000 employees. To conduct the survey, 60,000 employees at these companies were asked to provide feedback on their own workplaces and also asked to recommend other names.

The top 10 best large employers in America:

1. The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
2. Southern Company
3. NASA
4. Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
5. Michelin Group
6. Sherwin-Williams
7. Mayo Clinic
8. Carvana
9. University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center
10. MD Anderson Cancer Center

The top 10 best mid-size employers in America:

1. Vera Bradley
2. FICO
3. PCL Construction
4. Penguin Random House
5. Gentex
6. Celanese
7. Caltech
8. Advanced Technology Services
9. Aera Energy
10. Sirius Computer Solutions

It feels a little strange for once to see no names like Amazon and Google. Although the medical aspect makes sense living through a pandemic and all. That being said, Penguin Random House seems like probably the most fun or at least interesting spot to work on this list.
