It’s been over two years of event cancellations and a whole lot of missed festivals. The good news is that several of Seattle and Washington’s biggest events are scheduled to come back this year with formats that are pretty dang close to pre-COVID life. Folklife celebrates multigenerational arts, cultures, and traditions of a global Pacific Northwest. It’s a chance to see performing arts, listen to music, eat a diverse array of foods, and of course, people watch. Not only that but when was the last time you visited the Seattle Center fountain?

Capitol Hill Block Party

Capitol Hill Block Party 2022 is full of upbeat artists. You’ll be able to hear from headliners Diplo, Charli XCX, Jai Wolf, Toro Y Moi, 100 gecs, and many more. The lineup this year definitely lives up to the festival’s motto of “the best weekend of summer.”

Watershed

The Gorges biggest country festival returns this summer with a big lineup. See stars like Miranda Lambert, Morgan Wallen, Chase Rice, and more. Tickets go on sale on February 11th so get your friends together and get ready for 3 days of camping and music festival fun.

Boats, the Blue Angels, Hydroplanes, what’s not to love about Seafair? The classic festival is back with some new additions like a floating concert stage as well as a preview of the new Blue Angels fleet. So find that friend with a boat and get ready to hit the water.

Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire

We all need an excuse to get dressed up so how about checking out ren faire? Like years past, there are three weekends of themed fun perfect for lovers of all things fantasy and even Marvel. Don’t miss out on this one folks, it’s a unique experience that all Washingtonians should have.

When: August 6th & 7th, 13th & 14th, 20th & 21st
