A city-wide negroni festival for a good cause hits Vancouver next week

One of the best cocktails around has a whole Vancouver event this upcoming week. From September 13th to 19th, Negroni Week is descending upon the city.

The event, which is actually taking place across Canada and the United States, is a celebration of everyone’s favourite three-ingredient cocktail. You might be thinking “Can you really prepare a cocktail with 3 ingredients that differently?” And to that, we say, yes, of course, you can. From artisanal vermouths, special gins, and fun additions and garnishes, there really is a whole lot of ways to spice up a negroni. Don’t believe us? Well, you’re just going to have to imbibe to prove us wrong.

There are 18 venues across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland participating in Negroni Week. This means you could do a wicked negroni crawl over the course of the week (maybe not all in one night). Some places we highly recommend checking out include Ask For Luigi and Miantiao. But, every spot on the list is really worth checking out.

Oh, and this whole event is about giving back. Each venue is making donations to a charity, so you can suck back negronis completely guilt-free. They’re helping society!
