Okay, September isn’t known for being the most fun month. School starts again, the summer heat fades away. But we really think September is an underrated month here in Vancouver, and there are a whole lot of great events happening this weekend that prove that point. There are so many cool things happening in the city that we really struggled with parsing this down to just ten. But, that’s how you know that all of these are worth checking out!

Here’s our rundown of things to do this weekend

An iconic Vancouver music festival is back in a new form. And there are some primo acts coming to the show this year. The headliner for day one is none other than Canada’s own Deadmau5. Theatre is more than just Shakespeare. It can be much, much, MUCH, weirder, and more interesting. One-person shows, comedy acts, huge productions galore, and the opening day of the whole two-week event is on September 9. So, there is tons to check out around the city this weekend (and beyond).
