Happy Thursday, Edmonton! We’re cruising into a pretty great weekend of weather, with our fingers crossed that Saturday has only a little bit of rain in store for us. Either way, we’ve got some fantastic options both indoors and out this weekend, so let’s see what’s going on!

Here are 10 things to do in Edmonton this weekend.

CHECK OUT MOTOR NIGHTS

After a super successful launch in Calgary last year, Curiocity (us) has finally been able to bring Motor Nights to Edmonton! We’re showing some nostalgic, hilarious, and action-packed movies starting this Thursday. And of course, we’ve partnered with local food trucks to make sure that our snacks game is next level. We don’t mess around when it comes to fun, folks!

EXPLORE THE BADLANDS

Looking to get out of town this weekend? One option is taking the drive down to Drumheller and the Badlands area. Turns out, there’s a lot more than a giant T. Rex to check out while you’re there. Although, we won’t deny that it’s a must-visit top during the trip.

FIND AN INCREDIBLE NATURAL WATERSLIDE

Feeling even more adventurous? Well, you might be interested in checking out some of Alberta’s most stunning hidden waterslides. A couple of notes before you go- this is a doozy to reach on its own, and comes with the same, if not more risks as other extreme activities in the wilderness. So go prepared, and know your limit!

That’s right, the beach. While Alberta is known for prairies and mountains, there are tons of spectacular lakes (with beaches) that are just begging for your visit. Pack a picnic, don’t forget the sunscreen, and go have a ball with a couple of pals this weekend!
