Well hey, there, YYC! Happy almost Mother’s Day! Sadly, this year (due to COVID) we’ll likely have to skip that big brunch, lunch, or dinner date, but that’s not to say that you can treat that special lady to something special! Instead, why not take her on a day trip, curl up on the church or just bring the festivities to her? Here are 10 socially distant things you can do this weekend in Calgary!

HAVE ONE LAST SLICE DURING LA PIZZA WEEK

TAKE A SELF-GUIDED WATERFALL TOUR OF ALBERTA

From Lundbreck to Athabasca, where there are mountains, there are also plenty of breathtaking waterfalls. This weekend we’d recommend seeing as many of them as you can, but not just because it’ll give you something to do, during a time when restaurants, bars, and patios are all closed. The spring season is actually the best time to go waterfalls watching due to the water pressure being so high from all of the ice melting and trust us, you won’t want to miss out on all of the action.

TAKE MOM & YOUR PUP FOR A WALK AROUND A YYC DOG PARK
