For those who like to keep tabs on the city’s winter weather, we’ve got an update for you. Vancouver might actually see up to 10 cm of snow next week, with flurries appearing as soon as this weekend! If you’re like us and have been avoiding buying proper winter gear for years, now might be the time to splurge. At least we’ve got a couple of Black Friday deals to lean on!

According to The Weather Network, Vancouverites can expect rainy weather to dominate the next few days, with Sunday and Monday clearing up. And on Tuesday, November 29th, Vancouver will see a proper snowfall of 5 to 10 cm, with freezing temperatures predicted to feel like -3 C. Since this isn’t the first snowfall we’ve had this year, we think it’s pretty safe to say that it’s time to bust out those winter boots.

Snow flurries are expected to appear on Wednesday, November 30th, followed by an even greater drop in temperature. So even if the snowfall doesn’t get you, the cold might just do you in. But hey, that’s what layers are for, right?

As for this weekend, Environment Canada forecasts a mix of rain and snow on the night of Sunday, November 27th, and a 60% chance of rain or snow flurries on Monday night.

And that’s all we’ve got for now regarding the snow watch. Time to layer up, Vancouver!
