Late summer and fall are full of all sorts of festivals, some you know well like Walla Walla Frontier Days and The Washington State Fair. Others perhaps are new to you, like the Washington State Garlic Festival. Yes indeed, there’s a whole festival dedicated to everyone’s favorite polarizing herb.

The festival happens each August and believe it or not, the festival isn’t that old, it actually began in 2006. That being said, it’s still quite popular and a great chance to get out there and uh smell the garlic. We kid, kind of but there is plenty to do and also plenty to eat.

Nosh on items like garlic ice cream, garlic cotton candy, garlic chocolate brownies, garlic Mac n cheese, garlic dogs, and more. Seriously, there’s a wacky selection of items that you can choose from.

If you want to check it out for yourself, you can grab tickets online. After all, it’s probably worth it to add to your circuit of fall festivals. Learn more by visiting the Washington State Garlic Festival website. Enjoy!
