CBC readers voted and the results are in: Steveston is the best neighbourhood in Metro Vancouver. Sorry everyone else!

After over half a million votes, Steveston beat out 192 other neighbourhoods. We’re not overly surprised, as Steveston has a lot of fantastic activities and interesting things to check out. Did you know it has the largest fishing port in Canada?

The suburb of Richmond won over 61 percent of the vote, beating the other finalist, Mount Pleasant in Vancouver, relatively easily. For diehard Vancouver fans, this is a bit of a hard pill to swallow. But, you do gotta hand it to Steveston for such a blowout victory.
