Stop the presses! It looks like Toronto is finally about to get the raccoon-themed bar it needs and deserves. The new bar is called Trash Boi and it’s set to open in the West Queen West area this July.

The owner of the new bar revealed to Curiocity that Trash Boi will pay tribute to the bandit-masked critters that call this city home.

How, you ask? For starters, the bar will have a Trash Boi Hall of Fame filled with graffitied murals showcasing Toronto’s most iconic and memorable raccoons.

Yep, that includes the segway man and his raccoon companion that went viral in 2020, and the late #DeadRaccoonTO of 2015.

Trash Boi will also be serving up cocktails to go with its theme, like the Rac City Rum Punch, the Dumpster Diver, and the very Toronto-appropriate Waste Mans.

“With Toronto being the raccoon capital of the world, it’s only fitting that the city has a place to celebrate these hilarious animals,” said the owner in an email.

Toronto’s a city that loves to get weird. We do have a Poop Cafe, after all.

More details about the opening date and location will be announced in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
