It wouldn’t be the end of 2020 without one final bizarre legal violation in the city. Today, it’s the driver who was stopped with a less-than-normal licence plate situation on their car. TPS Traffic Services tweeted about the situation this afternoon, and it’s certainly an interesting one.

So apparently, the driver was stopped by a Traffic Services officer who quickly noticed a detail that was off with the car’s licence plate. The year had been handwritten on the validation sticker. After that, it wasn’t long before they realized the car also had mismatched plates between the front and back of the vehicle. Oof.
