A new upscale dining experience is headed to Toronto this summer and it’s got an exciting background, menu, AND location. In a few short months, we’ll be able to indulge in the luxurious stylings of Chef Evan Dickinson at Mademoiselle Raw Bar + Grill (as long as COVID-19 restrictions allow it). The spot was created by the same folks behind Toronto hit MARBL, and Chef Dickinson has previously worked at top-notch restos like Aria, Crush Wine Bar, and Vertical Restaurant & Bar. So we think it’s safe to say this place will be worth checking out.
Mademoiselle Raw Bar + Grill will be a sophisticated, fine-dining experience. The space is inspired by characteristics of Mini, while the food takes notes from fine-dining in Southern France and the Mediterranean coast. The menu will be most seafood, with special features like a raw bar and chef’s table, seafood tower, and fish charcuterie. Oh, and an extensive wine list you’ll have to see to believe.

Of course, what makes this extra special is the amazing impact this one restaurant opening will have on the hospitality industry. It’s no secret that the this industry was hit hard by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Which is why Mademoiselle Raw Bar + Grill is proudly employing over 200 hospitality workers from front to back of house.
Another fun fact about the place; it’ll be located at 563 King Street West. You may recognize that address as the former site of For Your Eyes Only strip club. From strip club to fine dining? That’s certainly a change of pace!
As long as COVID-19 guidelines allow it, this gorgeous spot could be opening their doors as early as Summer 2021. We don’t know about you, but we can’t wait to check it out.
