You work hard, so when you’re on vacation – no matter where that may be – you deserve to feel like royalty. A surefire way of doing that? By staying in your own private palace, of course, and man, oh man, have we got something special for you!

Located along Calgary’s Bow River, the acclaimed Inglewood Castle has over 5,500 square feet of space with each room more impressive than the next – which is probably why it’s actually been featured in Domus, a respected interior design magazine, just a few years ago.

With luxurious amenities including a hot tub, a games room with pool and foosball tables, a theatre, chefs kitchen, and gym – you’ll hardly ever feel the need to actually leave the property – though, if you do, it should be noted that Inglewood is an incredible area with some of Calgary’s best restaurants and bars.

Our favorite bonus room, however, actually has a heated indoor pool, which is available to all guests during their stay and makes the astronomical price of this rental all worth it.

Sadly inner-city extravagance doesn’t come cheap – but it is still affordable if you choose to bring along your closest friends.

For just over $1,000 per night Calgary’s Inglewood Castle, is pretty pricy – but again, totally manageable if you’re not staycationing alone.

For more information or to book this place out for your next staycay – you can visit the Vrbo listing here. Enjoy, folks! It’s not every day where you get to wake up in a palace.
