We’ve got some food news that we’ve been waiting to share for a while! Yesterday, the brand new restaurant Ca Marche Creperie announced an official opening date! This new venture comes from one of the folks behind Au Comptoir in Kitsilano, and there are ample reasons to check it out.

First up is the location, as Ca Marche is sitting on the main floor of the ever-impressive Vancouver House highrise. Naturally, the restaurant features a great design, utilizing an industrial, rust-colour exterior that’s contrasted with a bright and polished interior.

Next, the menu. At this new spot, you’ll be treated to a wide variety of crepes inspired by the Brittany region of France. And while there are sweet options on the menu, we’re definitely recommending the savoury ones, which utilize a (gluten-free) buckwheat batter in the true French style. Classic French sides like frites or salads will also be available, just in case you’re feeling extra peckish.

And, the proverbial cherry on top is the drinks list. Bucking the norm, Ca Marche is opting for a focus on locally-produced ciders, with a variety of draft and by-the-glass options. But, in case you’re feeling a little more classic, there will also be a small wine and cocktail list to check out.

This new spot opens this weekend, so ask your friends what their plans are!
