This Calgary bakery makes the largest & tastiest ‘cheese wheels’ in the city

Calgary has no shortage of wild, crazy, delicious foods, restaurants and bakeries, but every so often we’ll hear about one that we cannot wait to share with you guys. This time around, that place is Bolo Cakery, a local spot with extra-large eats to die for.

Though they do specialize in cakes, it’s actually their CheeseWheels that have many raving about Bolo.

Made with butter, bread, cheddar and a whole lot of love, these uniquely baked goods are not to be confused with your average cheese bun.

Wrapped in dough and stuffed with cheese and bacon (if you want), Bolo’s CheeseWheels are actually a whole 8-inches from corner to corner and are meant to be toasted, cut and served in slices. Of course, there’s no rule that states how small these slices have to be, so you could just cut it in half and call it an entire meal if you want. We won’t judge.

Whether you need to crush a craving at breakfast, lunch or dinner, these things can be respectfully enjoyed at any time of day. The only thing that could possibly make it better? Following it all up with one of their DeepMore Delicious cakes for dessert.

If you’re interested in popping in, we’ve listed the address below! Check them out, Calgary. We can almost guarantee you won’t regret it.
