Dancing ’til Dusk

Dancing ‘til Dusk is back for its 16th year, bringing Seattle Parks and Recreation and partners together for 14 glorious nights of outdoor dancing on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The event happens across parks in Seattle and begins with a dance lesson for the first hour. No experience is needed but keep in mind the class rotates partners. If you’d prefer not to, you can bring a partner to the lesson.

Soulja Boy

If you’ve ever wanted to hear “Kiss Me Thru The Phone” or “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” live, now is the time. Rapper Soulja Boy is coming to Seattle for what is sure to be a great concert.

Summer at SAM

SAM is hosting a ton of different free events this summer. Expect activities and performances that combine visual art, music, and community. There will also be evening concerts with food trucks and art making, daytime movement classes, tours, and community partner activities. So much to do!

Watch an outdoor movie

It’s time to get outdoors! If you’re hesitant to hike but are happy to take your indoor activities outside, watching an outdoor movie is a great choice. There are several places you can catch flicks outdoors this month and some are even free!

A Living Legacy: Recent Acquisitions in Contemporary Art

The Frye is dedicated to maintaining its collection and growing it with contemporary works. On the seventieth anniversary of this event, the museum is bringing together eight artworks acquired in 2022 that are all on view at the museum for the first time. Works included are by artists Amoako Boafo, Sky Hopinka, Gisela McDaniel, Bony Ramirez, Tschabalala Self, Ann Leda Shapiro, and Sadie Wechsler.

Flying Legends of Victory Tour

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to fly onboard a WW11 B-17 or B-25? Well, you can do that this week in Seattle. The Flying Legends Victory Tour gives you a chance to get up close and personal with a collection of some of the rarest historic military planes in the world. Choose between a grounded tour or take flight on a scheduled ride.

Summer in SLU

South Lake Union is hosting a month of interactive events, installations, giveaways, and more.
