With summer just a few weeks away and longer nights ahead, you’re probably hoping to see at least one outdoor movie. You’re in luck, because there are actually a lot of different options this summer. Here’s where to watch outdoor movies in and around Seattle this summer.

Marymoor Park

First up, we have Marymoor Park, which is probably one of the most well-known options around. Moviegoers can bring their own low-back chairs or blankets and spread out to watch one of several movies offered through this summer’s program. There are also food trucks on site for snacks and refreshments.

Nordics in Hollywood

The National Nordic Museum has a few outdoor movies playing this summer showcasing nordic actors and actresses in Hollywood. The films are screened behind the Museum, and they ask that you bring folding chairs or something soft to serve as your seats. A food truck will be onsite for snacking during the film and Pop’s Popcorn truck will also be selling popcorn.

Movies at the Mural

Enjoy FREE outdoor movies at Seattle Center this summer. The Mural Amphitheatre lawn transforms into an outdoor theatre with a 40-foot screen and the iconic Space Needle in view. Movie screenings start at dusk and each film is preceded by a short film made by students from Cornish College for the Arts.
