We’ve got some tough news to share, Edmonton. Today, we received a press release from Imagine Van Gogh stating that the exhibition has been postponed until mid-April. The exhibition, which was supposed to start this weekend, will instead start on April 15th.
The reason for the delay is straightforward- the exhibition was anticipating that Alberta would move to Stage 3 of reopening earlier this week. The move would have allowed for indoor experiences, like art galleries, museums, and the Edmonton Expo Centre. Which is where this exhibition is being held.

Current ticket holders for the affected dates (March 27th to April 14th) are going to be contacted by Showpass, who is the ticket provider. They’ll be able to reschedule their ticket for the new dates. But, the website explicitly states that tickets are non-refundable. We guess that’s the silver lining of no travel, at least.
We’ll also let you know if the delayed start means more dates later this spring. For more information, check out the Imagine Van Gogh website.
