Sip tea in a castle tower at this elegant ‘Bridgerton-like’ experience in Banff

Though many have tried, no period drama had ever successfully inspired the return of micro bangs or the creation of an entire TikTok musical – until Netflix’s Bridgerton

Dearest reader, after a long dry winter, the social season has returned, and with it – new episodes of the popular show and the desire to attend events like the Tea at the Castle experience in Banff.

This spring, those burning to feel closer to the elegance are encouraged to dress up and indulge every day between 1 pm and 4 pm at the Banff Springs Hotel.

Described as “the most luxurious afternoon tea party in Canada,” guests will be served flaky pastries, scrumptious scones, finger sandwiches and can sip from their extensive tea list.

If, of course, their afternoon tea menu isn’t up to brow, they now offer the Royal Tea experience; where kings and queens will be served everything from house-made victorian scones, and dill cured Arctic char gravlax to champagne and chocolate cake garnished with 24-carat gold; though, be warned. For $400 per person, access to this menu isn’t cheap.

Either way, we can’t imagine a better way to celebrate such an extravagant series – so practice your very best Lady Whistledown impressions and check it out.
