Toronto’s getting a massive Middle Eastern food, art and culture festival

Here’s another summer fest to add to your already long and exciting list. Toronto’s getting a massive celebration of the Middle East this July, and here’s what to know.

Back for its sixth year, Taste of the Middle East Toronto Festival is set to kick off next month for three days at Nathan Phillips Square. All are welcome to celebrate Arabic music, art, heritage, and of course, food.

The beloved summer festival will feature a number of local vendors and food vendors, an exciting entertainment program and music all weekend long, photo booths, bouncy castles, and more.

This year’s event will bring together local artists and dance. “Cultural Dance is really important to us,” states the festival. “This is our way to tell other people what are the things that they need to know about our culture. It is also the way that other people could have respect, knowledge and give importance to our traditions and norms.”

The event is free to attend however vendors are subject to their own pricing.

And while you’re at it, check out the other fun, entertaining, and FREE things to do in the city this summer.
