Vancouver is getting a secret wizard’s den & you can make boozy potions

Get ready, Vancouver, because an exciting pop-up that’s equal parts theatre as it is an escape room is coming your way. The Wizard’s Den is a 90-minute, adults-only experience that will have you feeling like it’s after hours at Hogwarts. Guests will be able to don robes and sip mead as they create their own boozy (or non-alcoholic) concoctions, for both good and nefarious purposes.

And while you’ll be taught the basics, it’s encouraged that you experiment for a little bit yourself during the process. After all, how else will you know the effects of ‘unicorn dust’ in your potion if you don’t add a dash here or there?

Each ticket is priced from $46 to $55.77, available online, and includes the following:

• Access to a 90-minute experience
• One magic wand (must be returned)
• One welcome drink
• Two magical cocktails to create by solving challenges

Note that while this event is geared towards adults 19 and over, there are family-friendly sessions available to those aged 18 and under as well.
