Located between Calgary and Edmonton, this charming town is known for it’s beach in the summer time – then when it freezes over, their many celebrations on and off the shore.

This December, the snow-globe destination will ‘Light up the Lake‘ during an event that runs for two days and will feature a market, breakfast with Santa, parade and even fireworks.
Interested? Well it gets better! As the name would suggest, Sylvan will also plug in 300,000 twinkling lights which will then bring the party every evening until March of 2024.

While a date is not yet set for this year, Sylvan’s Winterfest and Big Jig are also favourites come Febraury.
