You might have to rethink your go-to lunch spot because Seattle just got a new Sweetgreen location this week!
This beloved fast-casual spot is known for its tasty and customizable fresh salads, bowls, and protein plates. Sweetgreen made its Seattle-area debut earlier this year with its first location opening in The Village at Totem Lake in Kirkland on January 16th. Since then locals can’t get enough of the custom bowls and plates.
The new Sweetgreen location in Seattle opened on October 22nd in Capitol Hill and spans 2,500 square feet with enough room for up to 22 diners. The interior itself is a work of art, featuring a painted lantern installation from local artist and illustrator, Hayley Deti.
“We’re excited to join the Capitol Hill neighborhood and welcome the community through our doors,” said Jonathan Neman, Co-Founder and CEO of Sweetgreen. “When guests visit, they’ll experience the local partnerships that shape our restaurant—from source boards highlighting regional suppliers to design elements showcasing works by local artists. Sweetgreen is proud to celebrate the community, and we can’t wait to offer the neighborhood a new place to connect over delicious food.”
The Capitol Hill location will also be the first in the Pacific Northwest to utilize its Infinite Kitchen technology. This takes on the process of assembling meals, but every meal served always starts and ends with the team: from the fresh prep in the open kitchen and connections made at the ordering counter, to the finishing touches on each plate or bowl.
Sweetgreen is adored for its chef-crafted meals that prioritize quality, sustainable ingredients, and fresh produce. Its fully customizable menu of salads, warm bowls, protein plates, and sides makes it the perfect spot for lunch or dinner.
Some longtime favorites include the Crispy Rice Bowl, protein-packed offerings like the Miso Glazed Steelhead, and seasonal dishes with Maple Glazed Brussels sprouts. Try yummy add-ons like organic tofu from Vashon Island-based producer, Island Spring Organics.
Hungry yet? You can check out the new Sweetgreen location at Capitol Hill or order your meal online through the Sweetgreen app.
