Great news, seafood lovers! Spot prawn season is upon us, which means Vancouver’s Spot Prawn Festival is back at False Creek soon, and the Steveston Spot Prawn Festival & Seafood Celebration is making its way to Richmond even sooner. So get ready to enjoy it all with the good weather!

The latter is a month-long celebration, including a variety of fun events throughout May and June. Visitors at Richmond’s historic fishing village can check out spot prawn cooking demos, enjoy live music, and peruse a seafood marketplace, where a range of fresh seafood will be available for purchase.

As well, there will be several on-site food vendors offering a range of spot prawn dishes, from classic boiled prawns to prawn ceviche and tacos.

And if you want to indulge in even more delicious creations, the organizers of the festival will also have a Dine About Passport available, taking guests on a culinary journey to participating Richmond restaurants. Note that the passport is valid between June 1st and 18th.
