One of the most spectacular annual events in the city is set to light up Vancouver’s skies once again. The Honda Celebration of Light draws thousands of local and international visitors every year, and this summer will be no exception, due in large part to an extra boost to local tourism in BC via PacifiCan.
On Monday, April 24th, the federal government announced an investment of $457,760 through the Tourism Relief Fund for the Vancouver Fireworks Festival Society.
“The Honda Celebration of Lights is a landmark event in the Lower Mainland that my family has attended many times. It’s one of many events and attractions that showcase Vancouver as a great place to live, work, and visit,” explains Minister of International Development Harjit S. Sajjan. “The Tourism Relief Fund will support the Vancouver Fireworks Festival Society in putting on an exciting and safe event in 2023.”
