Your Friday nights are about to get a lot more exciting. Downtown Yonge BIA is hosting a free weekly skate party at College Park throughout the month of February called Skates and Sounds.

On four separate evenings this month, Toronto’s Barbara Ann Scott Ice Trail at College Park will come alive with incredible DJs, fire pits, and fun entertainment for the whole family.

There will be free skate lending available too, so if you don’t have a pair of your own, don’t sweat it!

Listen to the sounds of upbeat live music while you glide the evening away on Toronto’s downtown ice trail, then warm up by the fire pits.

Each event will have a different theme. The first Friday night will be Disco Night with DJ Starting from Scratch, who you may recognize from iHeart Radio Canada.

February 10th will be the 80s vs 90s night with DJ Jay, so you’ll be treated to some amazing throwbacks.

The following Friday will be Global Hits with DJ Kevin, and the grand finale will be Chart Toppers! with SYD.

The skating trail will also be hosting a Family Fun Day event on February 18th, which is the Saturday of the long weekend.

With so many nearby restaurants, cafes, and the Eaton Centre just a short walk away, you can make a whole day out of it too.

There is so much fun to be had in Toronto this February. It may be peak winter, but with all these fun things to do, we’re not mad about it!
