Alberta’s pride-themed cocktail festival is back & here are the 70+ bars participating

August 2022 has arrived and with it, a month of excitement! This year, in order to kick off one of the most vibrant events – Calgary Pride, the foodies behind Canada’s Eat North are back with their highly anticipated Shake, Stir and Strainbow festival!

A boozy celebration held in support of the 2SLGBTQ+ community and the Calgary-based Skipping Stone Foundation, SSS runs between now and August 23rd and, encourages people all over Alberta to get out, about and sippin’ in hopes of creating a better more tolerant province.

The best part? In addition to spreading awareness about the organization mentioned above, $1 from every drink sold will go towards the charity which connects trans and gender-diverse youth, adults, and families with comprehensive and low barrier access to the support they need and deserve.
