Popular spot on Ossington strip expands its brewery & here’s what it looks like

If you’ve strolled along the Ossington stip recently, then maybe you’ve noticed a new spot in the works. It just so happens that Bellwoods Brewery has expanded its location, now offering more seating indoors!

The 124 Ossington Ave. spot has nearly doubled in size and features a new eight-seat bar situated between the new and original space.

The new expansion comes at the right time as the pub is celebrating its 10-year anniversary.

“We are incredibly grateful for all the support Bellwoods Brewery has received over the past decade. What better way to mark the occasion than by gifting the Ossington Brewpub, our first home, an expansion, and update,” said Mike Clark, co-founder, Bellwoods Brewery.

The space continues to emit the same great laid-back, warm, and welcoming vibes Bellwoods is known for. The walls are decorated with historical photos of the neighbourhood courtesy of the Toronto archives and Bellwoods iconic beer posters by Doublenaut design.

As for the seating, it’s a mix of solid white oak, white-wash, and whisky leather benches, ceramic-top tables, and eclectic chairs. It’ll be THE spot once winter rolls around.

The Bellwoods Brewery Ossington Brewpub is open for lunch from 12 pm to 12 am Wednesday through Sunday. It’s scheduled to open Monday to Tuesday very soon
