Hey, Seattlites, the weather is getting pretty dang nice these days and it’s making us want to be outside. That being said, we’re all still under a stay at home order. So with that in mind, we thought this is the perfect time to explore some of the best bike shops in Seattle.
Gregg’s Cycles
Gregg’s has quite literally been voted Seattle’s best bike shop so you know what, we trust them. Plus they have 3 locations which make it convenient for both city dwellers and Eastsiders. And of course, they are presently open online.
VELO Bike Shop
These guys have been around since 1968 and they sure know how to serve up some excellent bike knowledge. And, they are actually open during this time. That being said, you need to know exactly what you’d like to purchase before going, wear a mask and respect the state’s social distancing law.
Recycled Cycles
This is probably Seattle’s coolest bike shop as they focus on used bikes and parts. So if you like to buy second hand or need a new part for your bike make sure to check out Recycled Cycles. Plus you’ll probably save a buck or two.
20/20 Cycle
If you’re all about custom bikes you need to check out 20/20 Cycle. They are known for building amazing custom bikes and servicing bikes exactly to your needs. Because who wants to have a bike like every other on the road?

Ride Bicycles
This bike shop is all about the community and has a great staff. They focus mainly on commuter, gravel, and mountain bikes so if that’s what you’re looking for be sure to check out Ride. And they have both their physical and online shops open.
Montlake Bicycle Shop
This bike shop is a Seattle favorite and is tried and tested for new bikes, rentals, and repairs. They are currently not allowing customers in the store but are available for curbside purchases as well as their online shop.
Free Range Cycles
This bike shop has been around since 1997 and is proudly woman-owned. And due to their location just off the Burke Gilman, Free Range is an excellent stop for all your bike needs. They are currently open by appointment only but we highly recommend that you give them a call.
Seattle E-Bike
And finally, if you want your bike to do the work, an E-Bike is probably your best bet. For that, we recommend checking out Seattle E-Bike as they have a whole host of options and even electric scooters and skateboards.
