Seattle’s best FREE outdoor summer movie series’
Alright, Seattle, summer is just around the corner, and that means summer movies in and around the city. Fortunately, you have a ton of different options for 2019, ranging from one-off events at the Seattle Center to movies at Peddler Brewing.
Here are the best summer movie series in Seattle.
Every Saturday at 9 PM, you can head to the Mural Amphitheatre to see a movie. The films range from The Princess Bride to Black Panther, so there’s some good variety. Starts at the end of July and runs through August.
Where: Mural Amphitheatre at the Seattle Center
Gather amongst friends and family for this covered, free movie series. Starting at the end of May and going throughout summer, the lineup includes classics like Super Troopers and Raiders of the Lost Ark. They’re also showing an all-time favourite of ours- The Big Lebowski. Nice.
Where: Peddler Brewing
Happening at three locations around Seattle, this cinema series is a great choice for those living downtown. There are four options for you to see movies from mid-July to the end of August.
Where: Hing Hay Park, Westlake Park, Freeway Park, and Cascade Playground
This one night only event offers up food truck treats for the duration of the movie, which happens to be Wayne’s World. If you’re over 21, there’s also a beer garden for you to enjoy. It’s win-win

Although it’s in Bellevue, this family-friendly movie series is worth the drive. Free movies, free activities, and free popcorn. A triple threat all August long, in our eyes.
