There’s a “sail in” waterfront cinema near Seattle & here’s where to find it

With summer just around the corner, we know that many of you are gearing up for outdoor movie season. While Marymoor and the likes are always a great choice, sometimes you want to do something a little different. That’s where the Port of Everett’s Sail-In Cinema comes into play.

From July 21st until August 25th, you can visit the Port of Everett’s Boxcar Park for the 8th annual Sail-In Cinema. It claims to be the only waterfront movie series in Snohomish County.

This year’s movie schedule is as follows:

July 21: 9:15 PM – Lyle, Lyle Crocodile (PG)
July 28: 9:10 PM – Top Gun: Maverick (PG-13)
August 4: 9:00 PM – The Goonies (PG)
August 11: 8:45 PM– Lightyear (PG)
August 18: 8:35 PM – Clueless (PG-13)
August 25:
8:20 PM – Fantastic Beasts (2016) (PG)

The Port would like to remind you to dress in layers and pack a blanket as it gets chilly on the waterfront at night. Also, remember to only use blankets or low-back chairs for seating, this keeps the view accessible to everyone.

Now if you are coming in via boat, guest moorage is available on a first-come, first-served basis at Port of Everett’s North Guest Dock 7. There is a radio frequency provided so boaters can tune in. Be sure to remember that guest moorage is not available at Guest Dock 6.

Despite being a “sail in” cinema, you can still access the movies on foot. Enjoy!
