This Toronto park is having a free Canada Day festival with fireworks

It’s almost Canada’s birthday and one Toronto park is celebrating in a big way, and yes that includes fireworks. Canada Day at Downsview Park is making a comeback this year and it’s completely free to attend.

All are invited to come out and enjoy a day full of fun and games at Downsview on July 1st. The event will have live entertainment, games for kids, inflatables, vendors, and excitement for visitors of all ages.

It wouldn’t be a true festival without fireworks and food trucks, and Canada Day at Downsview Park will have both!

Please note: Fireworks timing and confirmation are accurate as of publication date. Please check your local weather forecast, and the organizers’ websites on the day of the event.

So, be sure to make your way here this Canada Day and invite your friends and fam along for the fun.

If you’re looking for other fun events on Canada Day around the city, you can head to Nathan Phillips Square where a celebration will take place for the first time since 2017.

Additionally, Mel Lastman Square in North York will be hosting its usual celebration on July 1st, and a free rock music festival hosted by Q107 is taking place at Woodbine Park.
