Fall Fun: You can wade through floating cranberries at this BC farm

For those who don’t know, it’s officially cranberry season, which means cranberry farms across the province are in their prime. In Langley, Riverside Cranberry Farm is looking as stunning as ever, and is offering harvest tours until mid-October. Let’s get into it.

The harvest walk is a self-guided tour around the perimeter of the field being actively harvested. Visitors can see the beater machine hard at work, and even see the cranberries being pumped off the field.

And if you want to get up close and personal with the cranberries, the farm is also offering something called a “cranberry plunge.” Basically, visitors can suit up and wade through the field of floating cranberries themselves! Talk about a fun photo op.

You can also check out the antique cranberry cleaning equipment and learn about its fascinating history in their fruit packing room.
